I'm a fan! I visited a friend that worked in the area and the tacos were authentic! I am a sucker for self serve condiments so I totally went to town on adding all the sauces and pico de gallo on my tacos! They have specialty drinks if you can understand the cashier. She will mumble the choices again if you ask her to repeat so dont bother! Just get the prickly cactus drink if they have it!
Overall solid authentic mexican food with a self serve condiments bar! -

Dryyyyyy, overly overly salty meats. Did I mention how dry it was?
The meat was placed over some greens splattered with some dressing that just moistened the meat for you with some liquidity tasteless guacamole.
The meat wasn't even warm...
Might I add, my salad bowl with a Poland spring bottle of water was $20+.
Unless this is a money laundering shop, there's no way they're staying in business.
Verdict: I want a salad refund. -

Decent tacos, but overpriced. It's dumbo so I get it but at the same time, if you're charging $3.75 per taco then the tortillas need to be doubled and they need to be larger. They're little taquitos that are gone in 2 bites. I got an agua fresca de fresa (strawberry water) and it was good but also overpriced. I work right up the block and it's so frustrating how every food spot around here is decent/basic food with ridiculous prices. $12 for two little tacos and a drink, that only comes in a size small.
The little topping bar they have set up is very cute, and the women working there are so sweet. -

i found their tacos average mediocre and expensive. they did fill a spot when i was a bit hungry. i could have gotten something better. the space is standing room only and it is easy to find. even after eating my tacos i decided to buy a small soup from a local deli.

not sure why this place has only 3 stars?? I walked in during a lunch break and ordered two tacos (the al pastor and chicken al pastor). Coming from LA, I've been primed to have a pretty high standard for tacos and these were honestly so good! They taste just like the ones from Chelsea Market. The pineapple they include is a pretty decent size so you really get to have that refreshing after taste. The only qualm I have is that the tortilla is a little too unstable for me (it breaks apart) but the meat is soooo good. oh and the price but it's dumbo..what do you expect haha
